Ontario Issues 486 Invitations in Latest OINP Employer Job Offer Draws on August 28, 2025

On August 28, 2025, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program held targeted draws under the Employer Job Offer streams. A total of 486 invitations went to candidates living in Canada with valid job offers.
Northern Ontario Draw
Ontario invited 348 candidates under the Foreign Worker and International Student streams.
- Foreign Worker stream: 94 invitations, minimum score 53+
- International Student stream: 236 invitations, minimum score 66+
Candidates held job offers in Northern Ontario. Regions included Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Nipissing, and Kenora.
Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) Pilot Draw
Ontario also invited 138 candidates under the REDI pilot.
- Foreign Worker stream: 57 invitations, minimum score 45+
- International Student stream: 56 invitations, minimum score 68+
- In-Demand Skills stream: 25 invitations, minimum score 34+
The targeted regions were Lambton, Lanark, and Leeds and Grenville.
Eligible Occupations
Candidates had job offers across many NOC codes, including:
- Health care roles like registered nurses, physicians, and practical nurses
- Skilled trades such as electricians, carpenters, and heavy equipment mechanics
- Tech jobs including software engineers, web developers, and IT specialists
- Business and finance roles like accountants, HR professionals, and financial analysts
What This Means for Applicants
If you received an invitation, complete these steps:
- Have your employer submit the job offer in the Employer Portal within 14 days.
- Submit your application and payment in the OINP e-Filing Portal within 17 days.
