Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held a new Express Entry draw today. This was the 363rd round of invitations under the Express Entry system.
The draw targeted candidates in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). A total of 249 invitations to apply (ITAs) were issued.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required was 772. Candidates with a CRS score of 772 or higher received an invitation.
The tie-breaking rule was applied for candidates with the same score. Profiles submitted before August 28, 2025 at 19:19:18 UTC were given priority. The tie-breaking rule means IRCC considers the date and time a profile was submitted when multiple candidates have the same CRS score.
The CRS pool shows how many candidates were in each score range just before the draw.
Total candidates in the pool: 254,672
PNP draws usually require high CRS scores because nominees get an extra 600 points. This explains the cutoff of 772 points in todayβs round.
Candidates who have a provincial nomination have a strong advantage in Express Entry. Without a nomination, CRS scores in the 400s are not enough to get invited.
If you are in the pool, securing a nomination from a province can greatly increase your chances. Many provinces run streams linked to Express Entry.

Future draws will likely follow the same mix of PNP, CEC, and category-based rounds. Applicants should watch the pool numbers closely and plan their strategy.
